The room is open , care to enter?
It would be a pleasure...
Clicky thing helps.
Sweet dreams are made of this.
I am drawn to enter just because.
There are so many things that hold the viewers attention here! A fabulous artistic image - the concentric squares drawing you into the image with notable idicators with each level of depth - I find myself trying to work out the formulae above the window along with the interest of the hyroglyph too which apears as a characture of the bird on the sill. The hanging dice perhaps showing the random nature of what is seen - who knows! So much to see and so little time!
An excellent image!
I'll just start with a half Dave.
First with my eyes fixed on the image
Then with my eyes wide shut!!!
Thank fek for Atenolol!!!
You forwarned of this place... (knowing)!
I wont hand my key in at reception... if you dont mind
Wonderful dreamy/nightmarish image. Plus I'm a sucker for derelict houses.
Thanks Im bed now , your such a wuss Tim , you wanted the room !
Or should I just say 'great shot'!
Dark and freaky Dave, great work.
Very well created
dave another beauty
love the bird and smashed glass
Dave, you always manage to find some fascination vid/audio to ge with theses images. That must take ages! love this, it has so much depth & detail, who lives there?
So much thought and detail.Incredible work
This is well cool Dave....wish i could be more precise with my processing...well done...Jools
Fantastic image. The room looks to me like an exhibition in a gallery. I'd like to step through but might not be able to get back. What's the calculation on the wall?
Your images can be so difficult to comment on. They strike right through to the subconscious which can feel how right they are but often seems unable to rationalise that fact. Perhaps that is as it should be and is why your images are always far more satisfying both visually and emotionally than I can easily explain, so please excuse the odd flippant comment or simple click. Your work often bewilders but never disappoints.
Hey , good mornin !
Well, erm , I set out with a notion of claustrophobic escapism. But that the two worlds , both inside with the box and outside were equally perilous. Thanks Andy for spotting the concentric attempt at the hypnosis.
Either way to open the box or understand the formula were the only way not to remain in limbo.
The box is from Hellraiser , the formula is Odar Hamilton on particle acceleration , its the basis for time travel but they haven't figured it out yet...
I think we are all in the room at some stage !
Anyway , it was good fun whacking it together , learnt some new stuff as well.
Have a great Sunday , off for a gander. (pmd you Bruce , thanks !)
I feel like i've been in this room, its so reminiscent of a house I once knew, love the atmosphere this conveys
I think this has a Hitchcock feeling to it. He was good at making you feel scared by using your own imagination, maybe that is him on the sill.
Love the ducks and the dice
Love it! Nice work.
You know I am going to love what you do, so I am not going to say anything.
Good to have a look and listen.
Magic Dave ..... utterly gorgeous.
Wowa , just blobbed in to have a look round !
You've restored my faith in the human world Mr U , just in time , (you have no idea how close I came to Jack here!)
Good , the door can stay open now....
can i have the address please
i want to go there
You are here ! A series of 010101101011001s
love it x
Fascinating brilliance. Love the skeletons and the dice. love the skeleton portrait - as if the artwork has decayed like the person it portrayed. Methinks there has been much history here - all played out with a toss of the dice. But if you go through the rooms and past the shadowy figure on the right I feel there is hope in the final place of trees - where it appears another more welcoming figure stands - we can't quite see the features and perhaps we never will - until we make the journey to its end.
Well, that's how I read it. Hope I'm not too way off mark.
How unusual for you to disclose your raison detre so early on in your upload puzzle. I saw it last night briefly..... and I will be honest here, the word cruel entered my mind, that you presented the trinket box with the unfathomable key (combination) .... albeit hanging so tantalizingly in the light (but out of reach) ....
and the linky thing took me on a fruitless wasted journey which didnt go to the room I expected it to :-(
still brill work though
Bruce , the most subtle % of light was used in the woods. So much history in the room , so much to see outside, you are spot on.
Di, Sometimes things need spelling out in the dark x
This is prelude to to the room...Its not a dice game. Its open...
Time accelerates when you enter here dave, whoosh...
brilliant image .. angie
Wonderful image/work indeed - well done !
Really like the work you have put into this.
I just like the way you faded the radiator out at one end haha : )
As always, a myriad of thoughts unearthed, thanks Dave : )
Thanks , always puzzles !
I was just trying to work my head around the equation... glad you supplied the text comment bit though, I have a wee pea like brain for such physics!
much to ponder with this so I shall return
Thanks Nic , have the music on to though , they are linked..
This is a classic from you..easier to get to grips with than the mind alteration fixes! Love the use of the broken glass and papers,at first the lack of broken gllass in the frames bothered me a bit,but it adds to the strangeness and any inclusion of [broken]panes in the frames may have made it a bit to "common" if thats the right word.
a 1st class artwork, just brilliant...
Thanks , your right Molliedog the glass had to be out , windows to other worlds an all that !
Wenchy ! x
Love the style/the expression and all the amazing little details.
Thanks John !
Great control of light and textures.
Cheers Phil , twas a hard one.
I really like your work. Your images offer so much to view & think about!
so many emotions have been shed in this room.. measuring the formula of tears.. ( water droplets )
Drawn to the wilderness of the darkness of the Forrest but small glimmer of light beyond, The disappear.
