I was taking photos of wood lice, in my garden, when my mum came out and said "Whats this?" so I urned areound and there was a baby lady bird comming out of its larva skin!
ncie shot. and a lucky find
Wow! What a find! I've seen the newly hatched Ladybirds, but have never seen one emerging before! I like the way you've actually managed to get the body of the insect against the dark stripe. I may have slightly desaturated the background, as the colours are a little too bright (just a personal thing! )
Well captured. I have never thought about how lady birds came about. I've learnt something new today. Thank you.
Great image - well done to your Mum for pointing it out, and to you for getting such a great capture
Hi Luke pretty special find to capture well spotted mum - the b/g is quite bright and it might have been better to have a card about 3feet behind it to still get the light and detail but better b/g - good attempt young man - Ina
Well done mum!!
I think I'd also do something about the garish green background. Darken and/or desaturate it, or something. as it's competing with your subject.
