The adult was very wet because it was pouring outside,
please help me improve by looking at the EXIF,

Luke, I would of been very proud to of captured this image. I have tried to take these in the toilets at Martin Haven, whilst waiting for the boat to go to Skomer, & havent managed to get a great shot of them. You have cropped it well, I dont know your camera but know the lens. I would of put up your iso up to say 800 as long as your camera doesnt create too much noise. That would of given you a faster shutter speed. Keep trying youre doing a great job, as I said its a great pic. Jenny

You've got to feel sorry for the birds in this weather, how on earth do they catch all the flies they need! Though saying that, the chicks look lovely and healthy. You've caught them well! I may have given a little more space to the left hand side, but that is just a personal thing! Smile

A really beautiful natural wildlife photograph, which for me personally contains all the right ingredients to make a great photograph. I certainly would be very chuffed with myself for capturing such a gem.

I cant go above 1/125sec on my camera when you are using flash, wats a shame i know but I will get a sony alpha 77 soon and that's 1/250sec
