Very interesting picture - or should I say a picture with some interest. Where does he fit in? Is he part of the band or just passing by.
I'm just wondering if you asked him to pose of just snapped him as he went by. I've tried a few candid shots in public spaces by holding the camera at waist level and letting the auto focus/auto exposure take care of the details. You get a lot of duds but some interesting ones too.
Well done,
Dave D
Thanks for the comments everyone.
I quite enjoy the challenge of taking these shots in public without people noticing, it does change the picture quite a bit once they spot you. I don't hide away, I'm usually sat at a table outside a coffee shop, or a bench in the town centre.
Great shot, nice range of tones.
If I may, I'd just suggest you straighten the shot, as it has a slight clockwise twist.
