Happy new year to everyone! And I hope you had a great Christmas, too. I gather that much of the UK had a white Christmas, which I managed to miss by being in Michigan, which just missed the enormous winter storm that hit the American mid-west. Now I'm back in Nebraska, which said storm hit pretty hard so there's plenty of snow to look at here.

Here's a flashback to warmer times — late November in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco and somebody's pile of tapes on a park bench. Lost or abandoned?

All comments and criticism appreciated.

Dave.

Those bring back memories Dave - used to be the latest technology - amazing the progress that has been made in a relatively short time!
Well spotted (you always seem to take note of the unusual). Great detail, textures and super dof.
Hope 2010 will be a GOOD year for you and yours.

Days gone by. Nice work. Cheers!

Hey David! Great shot! I love your use of colour and decision to go monochromatic. Funny thing though, I had just been asked to convert some old audio cassettes to CD! (Thanks for dropping a line!) >michael.

Great shot David, i love shots like these, its the kind of thing most people just walk by and think nothing more of, but with a bit of thought something as common as some tapes can turn out to be a great photograph.

Great colour and love the dof.
