This was one of the pictures I shot for the Pentax feature that's on the site. Borrowed a 100mm macro lens off Pete to use with the Pentax K100D. The point of focus is the top of the puffball fungi, with a shallow d-o-f so it fades out of focus rapidly. This was a couple of weeks ago when the woods - it was down at Clumber - were still dry. Macro isn't my field but I was quite pleased with this.

Think this might get missed because it doesn't do well as a thumb, but once opened it's really very good. great tones and like the dof. Very well presented.
