Okay, here's the other image that I did use. Compare to the last upload and see what you think. Personally I liked this one because she's looking away from the sun and the dress is trailing behind giving a sense of movement but... I prefer the previous upload's composition.

Excellent shot Duncan, I like this shot alot.
Was it shot at Whitby, I was over there this weekend and had some beautiful weather.

Lovely sun, beach, model and exposure. The pier in the background however is a little distracting for me ... still certainly worth a click.

I like the idea, the figure and light in this too. But, as you say, the composition works better in the previous one.

No Ian, strangely enough it was the beach on the south side of Aberdeen, near the golf course. I was in Whitby last monday - the bank holiday - talk about standing room only, it was packed with people.

Sorry to be critical, but you've chopped off the top half of the lighthouse.

nice model etc., but this is a 'nearly' shot to me.
