This is my grand niece Layla taken after my daughters wedding last July, i'd not paid it much heed till last week while trawling through my folders looking at images for a course i'm doing, my topic is "light and dark"... I'd be very glad of any and all comments good or bad.. Hope you enjoy it?

expressive high contrast... but it think i would have liked just a tad more light on the face, for the concentration "wrinkles" on the forehead. apart from that, well-composed and really evocative. the crosswords and the mono are perfect choices since you were going for "light and dark". i'd love to see some more on this, since this one is a really clever shot.

Brilliant, thanks guys!. I have 5 or 6 images from the same day i was thinking of using for my project, i think now i may well put some of them forward for it, one i've already got in my gallery (Penny for them)...... Thanks again..D;
