Went down to Ardingly Reservoir, near Balcombe in Sussex yesterday. Took nearly 500 macro shots of flowers and plants along the edges of the reservoir. This was actually one of the first of the day, and one of the best! I found this bee sitting in a clump of hawthorn flo wers - I think he must have been too cold to fly properly, as he sat there for about 5 minutes, while I took several shots of him...
