Spent the previous to last weekend photographic the British Jet Skiing championships.
Experemented with slow shutter speeds and panning to see if I could make the water and background go horisontally blurred to give the feeling of speed.
For those who cmmented on the previous image. I'm afraid panning an image will hardly ever totally freeze sharpley the main subject. Especially in this case with two jet skis doing slightly diferent speeds in the same frame. A higher shutter speed will only counter act the effect I was trying to achieve.

hi here is a shot i took a few years ago ,sorry it only small but if you lok the shutter speed is 160sec and it is pin sharp . you just need more practice.
