Mt Warning? Where is this place, is this in NSW Auss land? Hmm, has a familiar look about it. Very nice capture, and I do like it as it is....well done..click ***

Excellent image. I know how you feel when you say you'd wish you'd had a wide angle lens. Buggar!! But..still a really nice photo. Great cloud formation and a fantastic spot to photograph. Well done!

Very nice. Like the impressive cloud and its shadow. You could try stiching two shots together. At least that's what I do. click. John

It is in NSW near the QLD border. This was taken from the "Best of all lookout" near Springbrook, About 35k from the Gold Coast. Thanks for the comments everyone.

John, haven't usually got the patience for stitching shots together!!

A great feeling of big open spaces - a grand vista! The cloud is superb. Slight doubt about the dark mass bottom right but it does concentrate the eye on the rest of the scene.

I would recommend stitching and you should at least take the shots now even if you don't fancy doing the computer work just yet. Anyway, the Canon stitching program is pretty automatic. No excuses! Smile

I don't think you always need a wideangle for shots like this. Looks grand to me.

Good picture but I would be interested to know where it is. In fact i've noticed that not many pictures on this site state where they were taken.
