A habitable spot at the fjord Hjoerundfjorden, Norway. As a matter of fact one of the more popular series currently on Norwegian television features people who live in places that most people consider uninhabitable. However, these spots called Kurset (front) and Gjevenes near Aalesund are not such places.

beautiful - i visited Norway last summer and was amazed with the fjords. You have captured it fantastically, i didn't see any snow though!

Lovely, I like the light just catching a few houses on the shoreline. Shame there's not a little more sunlight on the montains to lift them a bit. How lucky you are to have this sort of landscape to photograph. I loved Norway when I visited there many years ago.

Great shot...I've been to Norway 3 times now and have been to your home town!!! I like Norway very much and hope to visit again very soon. Many great locations to photograph!!!
Having been there, this shot really does give that feeling of isolation.
