Don't feel I've been so fortunate with capturing the Blue Poppies (Meconopsis) this year mainly thanks to high winds, bad light and doubtless lots of other excuses! Here are a few I think are ok and hope you like them.
Fully intended added 2 more to the original image but thought the site was telling me there was some kind of queue. Looking in later I realise it's yet another site alteration and there really wasn't any queue, so have added the extra photos now. Sorry, to those who didn't get a chance to view them but a big Thank You to all who looked in, voted/commented on V1.

Lovely image, I love the blue and the dof IMHO is perfect
Hugh
Like the arrangement of the two, the Larger crisp bloom looking down on the other an saying "come on, shoulders back, chin up, stand up straight"
These flowers have a blue that is very special and you have captured the tones so accurately, Ann.
Ronnie.
But they are so beautiful, and I do like the way they seem to be hanging their heads. The weather is miserable here too - most flowers are very late blooming. I think the blueberries are a lost cause - not even little hard berries have developed yet.
Anne
Beautiful blues.. v2 stands put for me, for the composition
I do like the arrangement in v1, Ann, and such a lovely colour. Real beauties.
Dave
Lovely captures of this ultrabeauty, Ann. The colour blows my mind! I mean, it's so rare to find flowers which are actually BLUE. There are flowers called blue this and blue that but are actually lilac and whatnot. These are blue through and through. Awesome ![]()
I love how you've composed these and that view into the centre in V3.

V3 is my favourite in this lovely set Ann, I too have never seen a blue poppy
