OK, I'll come clean ... I can't for the life of me remember the name of this flower! Grew it along with lots of others in a large pot during the summer.

Thanks to one and all who looked in on my previous upload. Finding it hard to cope with the slow speed and other strange happenings on site at present so if all I have left is a "click" on your image, sorry but did the best I could!

Aaahhhh now I think this is a Pinkus Whatyoumacallit! Wink What ever it is I love the velevt texture on that front petal. Glorious rich pink and wonderful detail Ann. Hope you and yours had a good weekend?

I don't know the identity of your flower either, Ann: it is a new one to me. But you have captured it so well and presented it so nicely. Sympathise with you on the speed on the site......that is the only thing of concern to me now, but I'm sure it will respond and get sorted out in due course.

Zinnia seems most likely to me, but it's a variety I haven't seen before. a very nice shot though, with great texture and colour rendering.
