One of the plants of which, (thankfully there are a few), is unphased by summer 2012! A clump of these grow close by the Lily pond and in the early summer was surrounded by many self-seeded Aquilegia which you can catch a glimpse of in the background. I had to turn to PS to remove one very dark rock which was showing up in the bg as a black blob in V1.
Got myself into a muddle yesterday and managed to "hide" the image I'd just uploaded, sorry Andy and thanks for your comment and vote anyway.
We've had horrendous weather over the weekend with thunder, lightning and rain you wouldn't belive, though if you watched the National News you might have had a glimpse of it and what it did to nearby Jedburgh! Walking over the meadow is rather like walking on a giant sponge and there are areas amongst the flowers where even well established perennials have been completely washed out.

Quote: Ann you pulled a blinder here with this composition it's so beautiful in it's presentation, the colours and light and that background are just amazing it's a big big top shot.
I did see the very bad weather and flooding on the national news.
Gary
I can only but reinforce what has already been said.

Two lovely images of your irises, Ann: glad they and you survived the horrendous downpours of recent.
We had much the same here but I wonder when hose pipe bans will be implemented![]()
