Once again - I really can't stay away from them when they burst forth in all their glory around this time of year - one of the garden Meconopsis. Many of you will realise the reflection is captured via flash plus my, by now, quite famouse, black dish! Bg darkened somewhat in PS afterwards.
In response to a couple of questions, I don't have lots of these gorgeous plants. Had to save 3 plants last year as they were being overwhelmed with other plants growing in the same area. They are now transplanted into a very sheltered spot well out of the strong winds we get up here and seem delighted with their new spot. My hope is they'll self-seed and there will be lots more in future.
