Though I love all the various varieties of Narcissus in my garden I do have to confess that Nature, in my opinion, saves the best to last! Here they are, 2 beauties in full bloom at the moment, Narcissus Poeticus var recurvus better know by their common name, Pheasant's Eye Narcissus. Sadly, it's impossible to share the glorious scent which goes along with their beauty.
Please forgive my lack of visiting this site of late. Struggled for a while trying to get to grips with the new camera, with which the above image was taken, so hope you agree I might be getting there! Garden seems over-run with weeds after such a long, cold spell and now it's too hot to work. Some people are never pleased![]()
A big Thank You to Andylea for his greatly appreciated UA for my previous upload.

Lovely image, you sure have got to grips with your new camera, beautifully captured and presented image.
Hugh
This is not a narcissus with which I can say I am familiar, Ann, but what a beauty it is with those "pinned back" petals.
Nice to see you back on site again, amd I hope you get enjoyment and satisfaction as you become more familiar with the new camera.
Ronnie.
A beautiful capture and presentation Ann,you have got to grips with your new camera, pleased to see you back..Lin
A beautiful flower and very well captured, Ann. The shape in the frame is very good and the dark background shows them off a treat.
Dave
Beautifully arranged .the dark b/g shows them off perfectly
They are a pair, looking out at something, and making us wonder what it is. Your images make me realize how I miss my garden. The drought last summer was hard on a lot of plants. None of my narcissus bloomed this year ![]()

Hello Ann, this is really a nice capture, at times it is difficult to capture White coloured flower but you have captured the details very nicely.. Excellent..
