GS woodpecker from last week down at the local reserve.Not to keen on the stick showing slightly proud above the head but the overall image i am pleased with.thank you for those of you who voted on my post yesterday bearded tit.

The stick or branch is part of the overall image, without it the bird could look as if it's hanging in mid air.........IMHO............I like this image because it's natural........![]()

Excellent shot of a very attractive bird. I might have cloned out that little bit of branch above his head. Very nice bokeh.
