Strange colour!
I think your picture could have looked stronger with a square format. you have two options there:
a) keep all of the flower in the middle and hope for some green from the right side to be included
b) keep the right half of the flower and the rest to the right, turn the pic 90 degrees to the left.
A picture is not just what you see but also what can you make others see.
