A rather bright and beautiful moon Eddy, a subject matter which I find extremely hard to get just so.

Folks the shot was taken in (S) shutter priortity @ 1/125 an f stop of f8 and ISO 400. I also set the cameras colour control to Vivid to boost the saturation, but trust me by no means is this a first attempt I've spent many cold nights trying to get a good shot of the moon.

Exposure and contrast was adjusted in light room 4 - but with the D700 the noise is really none existent at 400 ISO.

I hope this helps.
