what a fab pic.
I like the way you lead the eye into the picture by the way you have angled the stairs.... all the way to the top!
The way you've captured the light at the doorway at the entrance and then again at the top of the stairs gives a sense of moving through the image.
Did you open the doors at the bottom and top of the stairs or were they like that? If you did, it was inspired because it gives the eye so many ways to move through the building. It is easy for me looking at this to imagine the suffering in there - as the building now suffers.

Thanks for the positive comments - in answer to Jadus, I may have opened the top door when I walked through, but generally try not to rearrange things in my pictures if possible. It does occasionally need to be done though, but not here, so I can't claim to have been "inspired"
except by the place itself.
