I'd like to add the following: A still, to be authentic, must not attempt to be perfect. Imperfection, in fact, leaves much more room for viewers' imagination. A technically perfect photograph is as boring as a glass of water. Though it may appeal for a while, it will soon be forgotten. That's one of the important truths about contemporary photography and art.
