Having just come back from a trip through the Norwegian Fjords, I wanted to upload an image that summed up my experience. Not easy as the scenery we went through changed dramatically throughout the whole journey, especially once we had crossed the Arctic Circle. Add the ever changing weather into that and you have landscapes and scenery that changed by the hour.
So I’ve uploaded one of my favourite images so far (I still have hundreds to go through so it may change), as it shows how severe the weather was at times. The larger version of the image will show the snow being blown around..... and boy did that sting when it got you in the face
This was taken in Hammerfest..... almost 1000 km north of the Arctic Circle, and the world’s most northerly town.
