stone and bricks what a mix , when you think of the tools and equipment they had in the days they originally built this , it shows just how good the architects and builders were in them days , wonder what they could of built if they had todays technology back thenSmile seems they took pride in what they built judging by the fancy brickwork , and wanted their buildings to last , unlike some modern day structures built on the cheap and got no style about them , seems some only have a life of about 30 years these days
not sure what I done with the picture on computer it not let me view it , though oddly it uploaded on here it seems , wish I had cloned out the vapour trail at the top though Sad

Great detailed shot of this building. It certainly has a lot of character and a lot of skilled work went into building it. I'm glad its still around.

Yes, it's still standing, and looks proud to be there. Isn't it a pity they don't build like this any more?
I'm a great fan of old buildings, especially unusual brickwork, chimneys, etc.
From what I have been able to gather, this is Leeds Bridge House, a triangular-shaped building, built as a Temperance Hotel in 1875, and now occupied by a printing firm. 138 years old, eh? The shape itself is so unusual.

Lovely. Reminds me of the Flat Iron building in New York and the other one in Toronto (can't remember what that one is called) much smaller version though. Would love to see this and photograph it too. Great shot!
