I like the position of the barn and the hill side to the left. For me the barn does provide foreground interest but also it is a lead in as the next barn falls nicely to towards the centre of the image and into the middle ground, then the eye is led deeper in to the image as the barns stack into the distance.

The weakest part of the image is the sky. It is blown to the right and on the horizon. I would also apply some dodge and burn to the landscape to add depth to the trees and rolling landscape.

The composition works for me and is a classic dales scene.
