The first pure white bloom from a young Magnolia tree I planted 2 years ago. It opened as a lovely welcome the day after we arrived back here This is the state flower of Mississippi. When I first planted this tree it was only 4 ft tall, now, after only 2 years it is 15 ft high. The blooms can get really big, this one being 10 inches across. So I thought I would post it just to say hello from Mississippi to everyone on EPHOTOZINE.
This is straight from camera, nothing done except to crop and frame it.
I hope y'all enjoy its beauty and simplicity.

White flowers are notoriously difficult to photograph but you have done a wonderful job here, and presented it beautifully.
You have rendered the whites very well! For 'straight from the camera'this is fantastic!
Such a beautiful pristeen magnolia blossom. I had a magnolia tree when we lived in Houston and I loved to see it in full bloom.
