I waited a while for this shot. The Swallows must have been travelling well over 30 mph in some cases.

Considering the speed that these beasties fly at, this is amazing.
Im glad I open this shot, - didnt look like much in the thumbnail, but it is a lovely shot, and very aptly titled.
The only thing I can think of is to crop it a little tighter as in the mod, - but of course it loses a little due to compression, so I prefer it as is.

I think we have all seen how fast swallows fly, Matt, and I am therefore extremely impressed with this capture. I also like the way the bird is within the darker area of the background, and where you have placed it in the frame.
I noticed that your last two uploads don't bear the Junior flag, so am wondering if you no longer qualify for this category? I do, however, feel even more impressed, considering your age.

Very impressive to capture this, looks like a toboggan rider in the olympics to me. What I find odd is why did you call it Matthew Taylor, seems a strange name for a bird? ![]()
