This Chaffinch was trying to get onto the feeders but was pushed away so it sat on the tree trunk. I decided to leave the other sigma lens in the car after problems with it. I used the macro lens and was overjoyed with the detail it provided

It's amazing how the Chaffinch blends in with the tree bark - you've caught both the bird and the bark brilliantly!
