I'm not sure why but this photograph is one of the most popular shots on my photoblog.
I like the varying lines and textures but didn't think it was that special - I'm happy to be proved wrong though ![]()

Well, I'd hazard a guess at grain in the woodwork, wonky angles (in the doors, not your photo), a spot of rust and the general air of needing-a-bit-of-tlc that make it rather appealing. How's that? Appeals to me, anyhow.

Lovely lines, rust, grain of wood , pattern ....who cares about the paint!

Love all those lines and panels, and the touches of paint and ironmongery add delightfully to the atmosphere. If I might venture a suggestion or two, though, I see two pictures here. For the first, maybe push the contrast and saturation a bit, bring out those textures. For the second, I'd push the contrast as much as I dared and convert it into a b+w shot, the textures would really come to life then, I think? Carol
