Had your name all over the thumbnail, Paul!

Lovely tranquil mood and great detail in the lower zones.
One thing, howver, Paul, is that the lead provided by the trickle from the tide pool and the smaller rocks actually lead out of the frame, rather than into it.
A minor point, I suppose. I'm sure that you will have considered it and it may have been unavoidable. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see other shots where this wasn't the case as your compositions are usually meticulously crafted.

Didn't give it a thought to be honest Bill, it was the second to last shot of the evening - wasn't really into it for a change, but thought I'd just take a couple more before packing up. I know exactly what you mean, but in this particular instance (even if I had considered it), it was unavoidable Sad

Cheers everyone!

Looking at it again, I'm not seeing it as that much of an issue, it kind of leads your eyes out to sea, then along the horizon to rest on the lifeguard hut on the cliff - it'll do! Smile

This is a stunner mate, and reminiscent of a Helen Dixon classic from other beaches, oh how I wish it was mine!

Not been on here much recently due to moving house etc, but rest assured your thumbs always stand out in my mind Smile
