Reds are a touch over saturated with the whites looking a little hot , comp looks a little too central . fine detail though .

fine BG and lovely catch light . The comp is a little awkward and the pose turning away detracts.

The back ground is busy , the lighting very harsh so the whites have blown , birds very rarely look good head on , perch is far too big for such a delicate species ,shoot in raw , you really need to be at the same level as the animals eyes . A nice effort all the same and keep at it ,,,,it'll come...

Its a nice shot Paul . Geoff is right the virtual legs need to be in and a little more mush for the low POV. A slice off the right could be achieved .Plus try flipping it ie left to right ...you'll be surprised.

Hi Steve , the crop is fine and the comp too. But being back lit and the sun so harsh its given rise to a couple of nits.The BG is a little busy ,over sat in the geens/yellows and although you made a sterling job of holding the mids where necessary the eye is overpowered by the bright wing.You asked for truth!Gets a tick anyway .Nice one again.
