I am a diving instructor but it was my wife's first time. She was amazed at the sea life in 25m of water. Camera next time hopefully.

Dangerous Times

You are right, it's Zakynthos. We had an outbreak of five fires in one day. Due to the hot weather and no rain since May everything way very dry.

Underwood

This is supposed to be the oldest Olive tree on the island, sadly the chap is no longer there. Nice shot but I wish that the village would not allow people to climb on the tree. We see bus loads of tourists climbing all over it. Seems the Greeks don't see it as heritage/historic also it is free to view right outside a school.

BEETLE ?

Hi, according to my little book it's a Forest Bug, (Pentatoma rufipes).
Lives on a wide range of trees eating sap also small caterpillars and other insects.grows to about 15mm. Info taken from Collins gem, Insects. Handy little book.
