sometimes no matter Id rather post forsaken and a little music , helps the journey..
Its staying , and this is damn good music .
Soz for deleting that last building , but in hindsight it was crap , this walks a little better maybe.
is this what happens when you keep banging your head against the wall .A lot of crucifixions lately, feeling a bit hung up ?
I love that 3 D effect...I have been trying to work out how to do that but I am an old dinosaur so struggling....any hints? I have been working on too many forensic programs lately, and this image poses a host of 'what happened' scenarios to me!
Ps - morning!
A provocative and thoroughly arresting image.
I love the minimialist details and the forground insect. Brilliant as always.
Could look for hours and keep seeing something different. Which is more than can be said of the last 20 pages.
Promises can be broken.
Promises are often broken.
The bigger the promise, the bigger the break.
As always you have to keep returning in case you missed something. How do you do it?
And for some reason I keep thinking of the 'bloody' death in Spooks the other night...it has the same feeling.
Thanks for looking , I goddamn knew this wasn't the finished image , I loaded the wrong one last night haha.
Was twatting about learning goosens style and had a few versions, prom.jpg , promfin.jpg , proms,.jpg etc .
Im well rubbish at organising and storing my images , they live in a big folder called erm , "Images" , any advice on being more organised would be great.
Ive posted a variant but im not sure if you can swap it around to replace the first upload ?
Hey ho , gonna try and learn how to cut things into things as well as adding things on top so it might take a while...
Ill pm ya Polls , Im just learning this style , and massive thanks for your gea Stuart , good taste sir
V2 is bestest.
Thats a bit tame Jan x
Id rather you proper laid into it , tore it to shreds and spat it out the other end
Cos sometimes its hard deciding to experiment or stick to guns !
yes 2 is best
and you cant swop them as i have tried.
funny because you can change the variant
but not the original thumbnail choice
maybe you can change that Dave.
now that we have yin and yang its better
you could repeat it once again in the empty wall
if you follow me
Tis cool thanks Paree
Ive self abused myself on v3
And yes , this was a just a thought. Ill change that.
ha ha ha now i know you dont take yourself too seriously,
i think the little insect would say.
"I'm getting out of dodge while i am still reasonably sane"
No 2... Wow Infinity.
V2 certainly betterer Dave.
The vignette holds it all in and the panel on the second wall adds depth and balance. Lol but you've picked up on a good few niggles in V3 ..... maybe a bit hard on yourself. Certainly you need space below the figure's feet and the bevelled edge on the smaller pic needs replacing with something better but otherwise it looks pretty darned good to me.
Energy to the Druid

Dave, can`t say I`ve ever met an organised artist, keep the brushes clean, the mind clear and your sorted
Sorry I missed this but have moved to RB..just popped back to see what you were doing....Now I totaly understand this (I Think)....it is a sightline that worries me a tad....but it is awsome Mr D
Brilliant title for this great work of art.
So sorry that I missed this Dave - V2 defo - the way you have used the image as a reflection (?) of itself is superb and the depth and shadowing amazing. It is difficult to believe I am actually looking at a pc screen. Not all promises can be kept Dave, for many reasons...........xx
Keep the insect thingy - it adds scale and a sense of what is importantand what isn't -to my mind anyway.
v2 is amazing art
Yep v2 is best Dave, perfectionists are never satisfied mate..like the mirrored image in reverse too..like " no return" I dont arf mutter on..geez
Haven't been on for a while, it's good to see you still have the creative core burning through. Definitely like V2.
V3 is something I think we should all do from time to time so we can see the chain of thought.
V1 is all i need to view its from the first thought, the world has lots of broken Promises , that's why Every day, almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes. That's one child every five seconds.
Super picture it makes me think..
My eye keeps getting attracted by the leaf on the ground.
Interesting image and interesting strand!
