Hi Happy New Year .....this was taken a few years back in the US , about 20 minutes after I took this I got a $250 speeding fine....ooops
Best wishes Jeremy
Cracking image Jeremy, hope you had a good one and all the best for 2014 !!!!
Happy New Year Jeremy. What a stunning image! Love the lines on the road leading you off to the distant horizon. Cracker!
I like vanishing point images and this is a really good one. Best wishes for 2014 Jeremy
Thanks everyone and Pete for the award , totally unexpected but a great start to the year
Tut tut re the speeding fine! A really strong image compositionally, Jeremy, with the exposure capturing the fascinating geology beautifully.
Congratulations on your HC - well deserved!
Excellent and congrats on the HC. Happy 2014!
A great shot, who would think they would be trapping out there...
Thank you everyone, ..'who would think they would be trapping out there'...exactly what I had presumed Colleen , I don't think i'll be upgrading to the gas guzzling monster at the airport next time
Probably worth it.
Glad to make it 30 Jeremy a stonking image. Happy New Year
it is quite special…….
Love the cracks in the road and the light on the rocks. Happy New Year, Steve.
That road looks like it goes on forever! I like the cracks in the road too, makes it more interesting - I'm imagining them breaking open almost apocalyptic... I've been watching too many movies, ignore me Congrat's for your HC Jeremy and Happy New Year!
Into the unknown - fantastic lead in - stunning image.
Congratulations on the HC - you deserve many awards.
This has great detail and impact, Jeremy. With open roads like this I guess speeding can creep up on you
Congrats on your HC ....
A beauty; delayed gratification to compensate for the fine. You're lucky they didn't see you shoot this one and fine you for jaywalking also!
A really great image Jeremy made that bit more special by the cracks in the road and the valley/gully made by the road.
I bet your heart was in your mouth when the you saw the blue and red lights in the rearview mirror on that lonely road. I would have been thinking about all those Hollywood movies like Hitcher, Texas chainsaw massacre etc.
Thanks Derek , he approached the car with his gun drawn !!!!! I deserved a bit of a wake up call though as he clocked me doing over a ton
Brilliant scene and capture
Got to love those yellow lines.......stunning pov.
