Taken at Cromer this morning. The water to the right is a different shade as it was a lot deeper.Had to rely on my good sense of balance to make it far enough down the groyne so as not to include the breaking water

Blimey, 4.35 a.m.?? Getting up and out at that time deserves an extra vote of it's own! I really like the way the warm light from the rising sun has gently painted the water in places, mixing with the bluer tones of the sea. The strong central line of the groyne leads the eye through to the distant buoy and that wonderful dawn sky. If you were standing on the groyne, did you have to take this handheld? Either way, it's come out really well ![]()
