I thought it was mono until I saw the sand and pebbles in the foreground. A great moody shot.

Good stripes of froth leading you in while the rocks and the pier help contain the edges of the frame. The muted palette and the stormy skies make a very moody image. I like it a lot and it has a different feel to many images posted from this place.
