Another holiday snap from Pushkar,India.Pushkar is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. Wasn't sure whether to put this up but he had such a great smile i thought it was worth sharing Smile...........thanks for all the great feedback on the last landscape image

well worth putting up Jeremy, the guy has fantastic features.

If you wear beads they call you "baba" there don't they!

Whilst in Goa, we met a chap dressed like Ghandi, who kind of adopted us for a few hours, but spoke no English.
I asked an Indian friend there , what the guy was & they said he wasn;t local, but a "rolling baba" ... meaning he had done something bad in his yoputh (was an old guy), & was doing penenace by wearing only basic clothing and travelling India.
Poor guy, I gave him 50 rupees (50p) & he was elated.

Wonderful portrait and love the toning.
The b/g looks real but is the sort of texture we love to add
when the b/g isn't suitable!

Terrific potrait Jeremy, looks like you got him if diffused lighting because the exposure is spot on everywhere. Great eye contact and character all set against a lovely undistracting backdrop.
