Morning all, this is the second of a few shots I managed to take at a local Kite feeding post, arrived @ 12.00hrs and the feeding was not till 14.00hrs so I set up the tripod and used 3 x 4gb of CF cards and 1 battery whilst waiting for the feeding to start, now I dont know what I was expecting maybe the person who looks after the kites to do some sort of 1/2 hour demo with feeding and getting a member of the paying public to actually feed one of these birds however at 13.59hrs a guy pulls up in a clapped out vauxhall astra grabs a black bag from the boot of what he could get from the local abottoire that morning, walks around everyone that was waiting to see "the show" took the entrance fee and sarcastically said "hope you enjoy", jumps over the fence and walks to the middle of the field where it had been fenced off and overgrown with grass, he then emptied the contents of the black bag jumps back over the fence into his car and drove off!!, the 80 odd kites that arrived for the feeding all dive into this long grass and take what they can get, in about 3 minutes its all over and the kites have all gone, I must admit that it was great to see these birds however I feel a little misled on the advertising anyhow please feel free to leave any comments and clicks, thanks for looking, Lee
