Hi all I have been to a bird sanctuary today in Llanelli West Wales, I took this shot of a duck that I have never seen before, the green flash on his head caught my eye, does anybody know what duck this is? I think he is a real handsome fella...not that I fancy ducks!! all comments welcome

Up north they are called cuddie ducks after Saint Cuthbert who isolated himself on an Island
Or to put it another way its a male eider
