My main interest is in wildlife but I'll have a go at other things as well. I am gaining more knowledge from your comments and critiques and am always striving to improve so thank you all for that. I do hope you will find something in my PF that you may enjoy.

I am a retired professional musician living on the English Riviera in Torbay, Devon.
I bought my first DSLR about 2 years ago after watching my wife's (franfoto) interest in photography develop. Used it mainly for snapshots of friends and family and a few landscapes of the area in which I live. Joined EPZ on the 7 Dec 2007 and decided to have a go at wildlife, and in particular 'birds'. I didn't realise at the time how much expertise was required for this subject, but with practice, perseverance and viewing other members work I have endeavoured to raise my standards and hopefully will continue to do so.
