Hi all, from what I've read there are only about 400 of these left in the wild. This was taken at Devon Wildlife centre, part of a breeding programme to increase numbers and introduce them back into the wild.
Many thanks for taking time out to view and comment on my Demoiselle Crane and a special thank you to Julia (Natureshaven), Jenn (taggart) and Ann (EAS) for the User awards, really appreciated,
Regards,
Geoff.

Great eye contact with you, Geoff, that intense gaze right down the barrel of the lens.
Excellent detail.
For sure an endangered species so full marks to the Devon Wildlife Centre for their breeding programme.
Ronnie.

A rather stunning creature, which I certainly would be somewhat wary of offering a bowl of milk to.
