Hello Billy, Portrait images are not something I feel really up to speed on to critic but I can say that in V1the image is spoilt by cropping off the beard as this is a major part of the subjects character, the detail and light are good but the bg is a bit like a photo booth curtain
Hi Billy............. me again
Hi Billy
Hello Billy, Nice set. I am presuming that V2 is the processed of V1, and that V4 is the processed of V3?
Hello Billy, I have done a mod for You too, I have croppped away some of the bg to give a fuller frame, a lot of the bg was not needed, I rotated the image just slightly and altered the exposure and colour a little and finished with a sharpen, Hope you like it, but I do like Martins mod, looks great with the border
Great shot, love the comp and grass, it almost looks like astro turf
Hello again, what a great modern building, I have done you a mod, firstly I have cropped the image removing the tree on the left, this helps with the straightening issue because the tree was never going to be straight, and when you have definate verticals to deal with, a wonky tree will sometimes interfere with what is important,if you get my meaning. I then staightened to the poles that to me are the most important verticals in the picture. After that I have just altered the exposure, colour ans contrast slightly to give more strength and a tiny sharpen. Great image to start with, hope this helps
Hello, i have had a go at a mod for you. At first I tried small alterations, but it had no impact on the foreground, the main problem being the fg is way over exposed so you have lost all the detail but when I solorized the image you could see the detail was there in the image, you can see the flagstones etc. So I aterered the histogram curves quite dramatically and then went on to do all the basic saturation, contrast etc, and finally a selective sharpen. Hope you like it
Hi, I have uploaded a mod for you. I altered the exposure, the original was rather over exposed, then changed the colour cast which gave the bg a pinkish colour to make a contrast between the bg and the flower, I removed the noise from the red and blue only making the bg smooyher but keeping the noise in the green so not to loose detail in the flower. I removed a hot pixel or two and gave it one sharpen. Hope you like it
I have done a mod for you, Sraightened the horizon and altered the exposure slightly, gave it just a little more saturation and added a bit of light that lifted the colour of the water. There is a good few hot pixels but I didn't remove them because it took away the lamp posts and other detail on the seafront. I didn't sharpen either.
I have done a mod for you, I cropped off a lot of the shadow, which I think makes the comp better, being less central, I altered the graduation curve a little to take away a bit of the light that was a bit strong. It has a lot of noise, but taking it all away looses all the sharpness, so I reduced it slightly. Great shell, but I think Iit would take a better photo on a plain bg
Like this, great comp colour and light, the path really draws you in with great perspective.
I have done a mod for you, I think the main problem was the exposure, because you were shooting straight up into the sky it was loosing all the colours and detail in the bird, I corrected the exposure best I could and gave it more saturation of colours, I did a tiny bit of blur before a bit of sharpening which got rid of the whiskers round his face. Hope this helps
