Morning peopleGrin Todays image from the IOW is of Appley Beach in Shanklin, one of my favourite beaches a little bit away from the main Shanklin beach and very close to the pubWink
I like the light in this one, anyone who has been here will know this cliff can look very dark at times with the position of the sun..................... anyway I hope I have captured how it often looks............. Wish I was there today!

A big thankyou to everybody for recent votes and comments, very much appreciated

A rather idyllic image in which to spend your time, blissfully unaware of everyday concerns.

Hi Diane, good exposure but the composition could be improved with a crop! go for the letterbox format and lose a lot of the foreground sand, there is no interest there, the interest starts at the people then the cliffs and great sky, try it and upload a V2.

Regards

Trev.

A beautiful scene and I agree with Trev about the composition, There is probably a bit of colour cast too.

I love the sky and your point of view and composition. Makes me want to visit -- especially with the nearby pub. Smile

I like the composition, love the vast empty area of sand, the people could disappear and I would be happy, especially with a pub nearby ... Carol Grin
