Morning people
Todays image from the IOW is of Appley Beach in Shanklin, one of my favourite beaches a little bit away from the main Shanklin beach and very close to the pub![]()
I like the light in this one, anyone who has been here will know this cliff can look very dark at times with the position of the sun..................... anyway I hope I have captured how it often looks............. Wish I was there today!
A big thankyou to everybody for recent votes and comments, very much appreciated

What more could you wish for, a quiet beach like this and near to the pub too!
Lovely capture, Diane ![]()

Hi Diane, good exposure but the composition could be improved with a crop! go for the letterbox format and lose a lot of the foreground sand, there is no interest there, the interest starts at the people then the cliffs and great sky, try it and upload a V2.
Regards
Trev.
