Good morning everyoneGrin
A big thankyou for recent votes and comments, and on yesterdays image "Little Fat Fluff Bomb"
Now if you saw my upload "Appley" last week............. a lot of you commented on the fact that I said it was close to the pubWink so I thought I would show you the pub too, and just how close it is, which proberbly tells you why this is my favourite section of Shanklin beach.
The pub is called the "Fishermans Cottage" and sits at the very bottom of Shanklin Chine, It is only open in the summer months and in the winter they batten down the hatches..................

Hope you like it.

Wow...so the pub is JUST THERE by the beach in your earlier shot! Coo-erl Smile

This is suuuch a cosy shot. The light here is just right and your mention of fish and chips has got my saliva glands tingling at the thought of too much malt vinegar and salt...which is how I like it Grin

A lovely capture and not something I have ever seen before and I love the way the boats are lined up in front, any closer and they wouldn't need bar seats Wink ... Carol Grin

It looks like a lovely spot for a summers day Diane, but not sure about winter though as you say it's closed up then.

IOW was one of the best family holidays we had when the kids were young..... no time for boozing though, probably why I never visited here.

I used to live in Luccombe Chine just behind the cliffs in the background...
Used to walk along the beach past here to Shanklin, never knew it was Appley Beach!

Ive checked... you're very right!

Typical of the Isle of Wight.... we all assume Appley Beach is in Ryde, where Appley Tower is... lol
