A fine wildlife capture but not sure about the inclusion of the flowers I find them a little distracting.

It does look as if he is losing the tip of his tail but no doubt it will grow back again.
I like the shot just as it is and the inclusion of the flowers works well for me and just shows off the locale in which they live.
Ronnie.

I'm sure hid tail will grow again too, they can easily lose tail ends without it harming them!
He's beautiful and posing for you so well!!!

A smashing image Diane showing the beauty of this little critter. I suppose that is the end of the Ibiza tale.

Super detail and colour. If this were mine (I wish) I would desaturated the purplish flowers as their vibrant colour is a bit distracting.

I've not been to Ibiza, but I did see a few lizards scuttling about in Lanzarote! Wink Much too fast for me to photograph though, so well done here, Diane Smile

Lovely colourful capture, Diane. I think it was a bit harsh of you to snap the tail so it would fit in the picture!!! TongueGrinGrin

What...a...beaut. Not just the lizard but your awesome shot of it! The light, the colour...mmmm. And those flowers on the left.

Gotta echo, Mick, though, with your choice of basking beauties Wink
