Happy Easter Monday everyone! And thankyou all so much for your response on my series on Northumberland!
As I mentioned last time I am so excited about this upload...................... Little story to go with it.......
Good Friday morning I found this beauty inbetween the bath and the shower at homeTongue
It was a bit of a shock and think I woke the neighboursSad
I coverered her with a cup till I had assistance from Mr Fefe to get her outside without hurting her............ Thinking she would fly away immediatley on removing the cup we stood back and waited, I ran for the camera and grabbed a few nervous shots and left her sat on the paper to leave................. An hour later she was still sat thereGrin She didn't appear hurt, I think it was too cold, anyway........ transporting her on to different areas of the garden, the bench, several plant pots, and getting shots inbetween I finally left her in a pot of pansies and fretted she would last the night in the cold..............
Next morning she was sat about six inch away from the pot, but aliveSmile And the same yesterday tooGrin........... Then returning from a day out at dusk last night.........she was two foot away from the back door............ Just sat thereSmile.............. I think she loves meGrinGrin

Hope you like it.......... More posing to come, I got around sixty shots of this darlingWink

If she goes Diane, perhaps you can adopt one, from Bee-tersea Bee's Home. Love your enthusiasm and caring attitude, great shot.

A gorgeous capture with lovely details - perhaps it was just too cold for her!

My BB's have to run the gauntlet of my 'boys' trying to play with them! Fragile creatures Bumble Bees!

Super close detail of this lovely orange bum bee.
Sorry to here she's died.
If I find cold, hungry ones, I do try to find them shelter and a dab of jam or honey.
Not easy to ever save troubled wildlife unfortunately.
Her beauty lives on in your pics.

Love the shot and the story Diane. I have got honey bees dropping out of the beams in my cottage...about 7 a day, and I'm baffled (nearly said something else) where they have been over the winter. Smile
