Morning everybody. A great big Thankyou for response to yesterdays image
I am well pleased!
I am being brave today in uploading a flower macro image, Last time I uploaded a flower image (Flower Bash) some time ago I had a decent response but it wasnt sharp enough without a tripod
..................... Anyway still no tripod but a step nearer, I have looked at them in the shop
, So this was taken yesterday morning when the sun was shining through the window directly on to my plant, Cant remember the name of this... Is it an Orchid? So I took some pics, moving the plant around into various light and rested my elbows to steady the camera best I could. Very little processing, just a slight crop, and I have desaturated a little.......... Hope you like it, and I promise I am getting a tripod soon

Beautiful flower you have done well to hand hold your camera. Good colour and detail. Def get a tripod if possible.

With the shutter set that fast you have negated the need for a tripod, but you will have to get one, Diane. Window shopping doesn't do it, you have to go in to the shop and introduce the plastic fantastic to the salesperson.

Ah! I see... You used 1/950th sec and that was fast enough to get a sharp shot without a tripod. That does not meana tripod is not a desirable object to own, though
A bunch of flowers...hmmm...I think it is several of that thing you have posted above
