Good morning everyoneGrin
This is the first upload in a new series...................... "The Great British Seaside Holiday"
It will be a mixture of new and archive stuff and may go on for a good whileTongue........... But it will be variedWink
This was taken some time ago at North landing in Flamborough and I chose this one to be the first simply for the Union Jack to mark the title of the series. Hope you like it.
A big thankyou for votes and comments on yesterdays uploadGrin

Nice shot, captures exactly what you are trying to convey in your description about the 'Great British Seaside holiday'. Has a real feeling of nostalgia about it too. Like it.

Had to be the UK with all the NO signes, the sea looks almost tropical.
Look forward to more from your series

I was amused to see the signs which seem particulary appropriate to the theme.
Look forward to seeing the rest.

A great start, Diane, a quirky composition which works so well, and the red of the flag is so vibrant.

It's a wonder it doesn't say, "No Bathing, We're British!"
A pleasing alternative to beach huts, sunshades and loungers....love it.

A simple shot that does actually sum up a British seaside very well.

Why go to long sandy beaches in Greece and swim in the warm waters of the med, when you can have pebbles and the chill of the North sea at home ???????? Smile Sad
