A London shop window at Christmas time. After a bit of editing the reflection showed up as prominent as the window display. Thankyou for comments on yesterdays photo.
The thumbnail was intriguing so I had to look. I like what you have tried to achieve but feel that picture does not explain itself without a narrative. I would suggest that some of the window frame (if not all) is necessary in the picture to enable the viewer to understand the shot and be able to sort out what is in the image and what may be reflected. Just my humble opinion
The phone box seems a little too prominent and maybe another idea could have been to include some of the street in the shot. Maybe get the real phone box and the reflection in the window in the same shot..............
Thanks for your comment. To clear up any confusion the phone box, the mannequin in red tights and the red baurbles are in the window and all the rest is reflection on Oxford Street.
Hi Diane. Silly me....that phonebox had to be in the window with the mannequin inside.
A curious mixture of elements, almost surreal, but I like the overall effect. Click!
I really like it! I like the way it looks like that's really on the street.
A very nice image..
This is a very odd and wonderful photo, everything is strange . The legs , and more than anythings to me is the wording on the building ? back to front ? hahaha i thought i was on drugs for a minute when i first viewed it.
It's a very clever photo congrats
Aww thanks bloggs
Brilliant, just the sort of image i like - you have to stop and think to see its meaning. Very well done
