You're missing the point, that rust has been lovingly recreated to give the authentic period feel. They may even have called in a Scottish consultant to oversee the work.

Really rather lovely with its variety of colours and textures, including the ideal match of rusty metal and shabby blue paint.

Now this is what I call decorating Albert.
I wish my wife would let me away with this splendid decor !!
It was all pastel muted colours and flowery curtains.
Some women just have NO TASTE !!
